Voice Dialogue Facilitation Training

About this event

The Fundamentals of Voice Dialogue, is the 2 CE webinar pre-requisite for attending the 2-day, 14 CE, In-Person Immersion - https://new-york-voice-dialogue-institute.ce-go.com/courses/the-fundamentals-of-voice-dialogue-the-psychology-of-inner-selves

The Immersion In-Person Voice Dialogue Facilitation Training:

Voice Dialogue—developed by Bridgit’s mentors, Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone—is grounded in the premise that a healthy personality is composed of many inner selves. For more than three decades, the Stones taught internationally, shaping the contemporary rise of “parts work” as a cornerstone of effective psychotherapy. While many clinicians understand the importance of identifying different internal parts, Voice Dialogue’s unique power lies in its somatic methodology, which accelerates integration and deepens long-term therapeutic change.

Join us for this rare two-day immersive masterclass, co-taught with somatic educator, functional movement specialist, trauma practitioner and Voice Dialogue Senior Trainer, Ruthie Fraser. This experiential intensive equips you to confidently facilitate Voice Dialogue and weave it into your clinical practice immediately.

A hallmark of Voice Dialogue is its structured, embodied approach: clients physically shift into a new space to inhabit and speak from a specific sub-personality. This allows them to engage directly—and safely—with vulnerable, wounded, protective, or stuck parts that may carry trauma imprints or long-held adaptive strategies. Through this somatic “positional” process, clients separate from a dominant point of view, dissolve black-and-white thinking, and recognize each part as one essential facet of a larger psychological whole. This approach supports healing from anxiety, depression, eating-disordered behavior, substance dependence, relationship difficulties, creativity blocks, stuckness, and other sources of distress.

Voice Dialogue also reveals the psyche’s “golden” alter egos: the Optimist, Adventurer, Healer, Playful Child, Visionary, and other creative and wise sub-personalities. Encountering these inner allies is galvanizing; clients gain access to innate strengths, intuitive counsel, and previously untapped superpowers.

Compatible with many evidence-based therapies, Voice Dialogue integrates seamlessly with IFS, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, CBT, DBT, Attachment and Object Relations frameworks, psychodynamic psychotherapy, couples and family therapy, conflict resolution, psychodrama, and expressive therapies.

Why This Training Is Worth Your Investment...

This weekend immersion offers one-of-a-kind experiential learning that becomes part of your permanent clinical skillset. You will:

• Practice facilitation with supervision and structured group exercises

• Learn the Anatomy of a Voice Dialogue Session

• Create a Map of Your Inner Selves

• Use the Energy Memory worksheet to explore energetics, the physiology of expression, and the childhood rules clients may still be following unconsciously

• Engage in integrative practices that enhance awareness, attunement, and therapeutic presence

Wellness has been described as being “in the right self at the right time.” Voice Dialogue gives clinicians—and their clients—the tools to do just that. Add this deeply creative, trauma-informed, and clinically impactful modality to your therapeutic repertoire.

  • Bridgit Dengel Gaspard, LCSW
Bridgit Dengel Gaspard, LCSW, is an author, Founder of the New York Voice Dialogue Institute, has a thriving private practice and has been a Voice Dialogue Senior Facilitator and Trainer since 2006, supervised by her mentors, the developers Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone. The premise of Voice Dialogue is that our healthy personality consists of many different parts, also called inner selves, alter egos, sub-personalities and personas. Voice Dialogue is internationally recognized as a transformational somatic-based facilitation method that generates constructive change and promotes healthier life choices and engages broader creativity, cognitive flexibility and optimism. By experiencing and naming alter egos in a non-judgmental environment, this strengths-based intervention alleviates symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood swings, substance dependence, compulsions, eating disordered behavior and low self-esteem. The goal is never to eliminate an inner self, but to support integration and fostering a greater range of options when making and strategizing life choices. Voice Dialogue is also effective with relationships. This is covered in Level 2, with particular focus on healing destructive bonding patterns as a result of power struggles between some inner selves of each person. Benefits of Voice Dialogue include clear and innovative thinking, maintaining healthy boundaries as well as new behaviors after breaking a habit, self-acceptance, spontaneity, access to creativity, a sense of humor and authentic expression. For many, as the secret and powerful intentions of the inner selves are revealed, Voice Dialogue is the key to unsolved puzzles that have plagued their life. In 2020 New World Library published her book, The Final 8th: Enlist Your Inner Selves to Accomplish Your Goals. Bridgit is a former performer, so deep fun is always part of her workshops.
